“Everything I do for my clients and their employees begins with the question, 'How can we help you plan more effectively to retire the way you want to?'”
Eric joined Canby Financial in 2019 as a Financial Advisor and also serves as a Retirement Plan Advisor for Canby’s Retirement Plan Services practice.
In addition to providing financial planning and investment management services to individuals and families, he also seeks to expand the firm’s reputation as a trusted advisor to companies wishing to start a retirement plan or improve their existing plan. One of his highest priorities is to provide plan participants with access to planning resources that give them greater direction and confidence in achieving their vision of a comfortable retirement.
To this role Eric brings more than 20 years of investment industry experience, most recently at OppenheimerFunds, where he served as a Senior Retirement Consultant. He has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designee, a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS®) professional, and a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA).
Eric lives in Foxboro, MA, with his wife Annie and his two sons, Eric and Dan. Nicknamed “Coach” for managing many of his sons’ various sports teams, Eric has been fortunate to be a New England Patriots season ticket holder every year of the Brady-Belichick dynasty.
He is a supporter of his family’s church, St. Mary’s in Foxboro. His nephew, Ethan, has Williams Syndrome, a developmental disorder. To raise awareness and funding for critical programs to provide brighter futures for Ethan and others, Eric participates in the annual Boston Walk for Williams in support of the Williams Syndrome Association.
